Booking
To make a booking, you can check availability and book online. However, if you
make an enquiry through the 'Booking Enquiry' form, we will advise of availability at the time of
the reply. This does not constitute an offer of accommodation, until we have confirmed that a booking has
been made for you. To guarantee pricing quoted in offers in response to an email enquiry, you must either
telephone us to confirm, or use the 'Confirm a Booking' form on the website. If you make the
booking online after an email offer has been made, the prices may not be the same.
All bookings must be guaranteed by a credit or debit card, valid for the date of arrival. We do not normally take a deposit, except sometimes for groups that book a large proportion of our rooms. In this case, the deposit would be refundable in the case of cancellation as set out in the cancellation policy. We will let you know if this is required
Cancellation Policy
Our standard cancellation policy 12pm, at least 14 days before you
were due to arrive. If you cancel within this time period, a 1 night charge may be made. We also reserve the
right to charge the full cost of the stay in the case of a cancellation less than 2 days before arrival, or
for a no show. We will always try to resell the room, and if we are able to do this, we may waive any late
cancellation charges.
During the time of Covid-19, for however long this affects travel due to restrictions, we will be more flexible and allow customers to cancel later. This will apply where new restrictions have been imposed last minute, and you are not able to travel because of these. We understand that theses are unprecedented times and it is difficult for everyone.
Acceptance of any offer of accommodation means that you also accept these terms.
Check-In
We request that all guests let us know what time they will arrive. This is so
we can prioritise room cleaning for guests who want to arrive early.
Standard check-in is between 2pm
and 6pm. If you will be arriving earlier or later than this, please let us know, so we can make appropriate
arrangements for you.
For very late arrivals, we have a late check-in process, where we leave you keys
in a safebox at the front door, and provide instructions for accessing the box and other information you will
need.
You can also arrive earlier than 2pm, but the room may not be ready for you. You can, however,
leave your luggage with us and we will put it in your room for you once it is ready.
Car Parking
A residents car park is available at the guest house and is free of charge
for residents of the guest house. The guest house owners accept no liability for any cars parked in the guest
house car park.
Smoking Policy
The guest house is strictly non-smoking. Guests may smoke outside the
front of the guest house only, where there is an ashtray and table and chairs. Any guest smoking anywhere
inside the guest house, including outside the rooms with a terrace, will be asked to leave, and will be
charged for the full amount of their booked stay.
